Youth Ministry

The youth at Perrysburg First church are here to fellowship with others in the name of God. In short, we are excited about God and want to show His love to all!  Check out some of our events below…

Youth Group is open to all youth, grades 6th-12th and comes together every Sunday night at 6:00pm to have fun and fellowship with each other. Nights are filled with games and discussions aimed at getting a little closer to God. We hope that you will come and join us!

Lock In

We keep a balance of Fun & Faith. Though it is important to have Christ as our guide to life, we want our youth to build strong relationships with each other as a continual community of support.Lock-in

Our “mission” is to come together to learn about God and to have fun while doing it. As a society it seems that we often fill our time with worldly things.  One of our goals here at Perrysburg First is to give our community youth a place to come that is safe, fun and a place that God can be the focal point, even if it’s just for an hour.  Connect with the Youth Group Facebook by clicking the link below or email our Youth Director at zanetpowell@gmail.com (please copy and paste)  We hope you will come join us!

2016 Youth Mission Trip

This year our youth group traveled to Mt. Hope, West Virginia for our summer mission trip. While there the students worked in an old coal mining city called Beckly, repairing a roof for Ms. Anita and building a ramp for Ms. Dot. The youth found it so rewarding being able to serve our 2 homeowners, and in return, feeling God’s reward for serving in His name. The work was hard (and hot!) and we were able to accomplish many things which you can see in our recap video below and on the church’s YouTube channel, but it is hard to describe the spiritual work that was also being done not only in the hearts of those people that we were able to serve, but the amazing work that was done in our own faith. We can’t thank the congregation of Perrysburg First Church enough for all the support they have given to make this trip possible!
